Henry Ancona
Henry Ancona currently serves as Executive Advisor to corporations, with a focus on business and leadership development. Clients include firms in security, compliance, media, information services and other businesses.
Henry has served on the Board of Directors of both private and public companies, helping several to successful M&A transactions. Private company boards include Visible Measures, Kubi (acquired), Sentillion, Evidian and Inframetrics (acquired). Publicly traded company boards include Pegasystems, Computervision (acquired), and OneSource Information Services (acquired).
Henry has over 25 years of operational experience in both Europe and North America. He was most recently President at Pegasystems, a rules-based business process management publicly traded software company, and Chairman and CEO of Evidian, a security and telecom management software company which he founded through an equity carve-out. Previously, as Executive Vice President at Polaroid, he led the company’s Digital Imaging and $1B Commercial Imaging businesses. Henry has also held a variety of general management positions at Digital Equipment, including leading the company's office applications software business, which he built from start-up to number 1 in market share.
Henry holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, and BS and MS degrees from MIT in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. Having lived in France, the UK, Italy and the Middle East, Henry speaks Italian and French fluently.
